Situated in the heart of a peaceful hamlet, “Jacques Cottage” is a cosy, comfortable cottage, parts of which date back to the 18th Century. Newly refurbished and re-decorated throughout, there are three large pretty bedrooms all with sanded pine floors. Two double rooms and one twin room, with extensive views to the sea and Bodmin Moor.
Beautiful hand crafted well equipped Shaker style kitchen with beams. Sun Lounge with games and table tennis. Dining room with inglenook fireplace, Rayburn and original bread oven. Traditionally furnished lounge with open fire place and leather sofas.
Jacques Cottage offers a relaxing stay in the middle of unspoilt country side. Bude with it surfing beaches and shopping amenities is easily accessible as is the Hartland Peninsula to the north with a wide variety of landscapes from secluded beaches, coastal walks and wild moorland.
The cottage is family friendly but equally suited to couples, as well as being pet friendly. There is off road parking for 2/3 cars at the rear of the relaxing suntrap garden.
The village shop is a stones throw away and the 13th century Bush Inn pub and Rectory Tea rooms are within walking distance. With the South West Coastal Path only a mile away “Jacques cottage” is ideally located for a relaxing get away.
