This pleasant and friendly bed and breakfast overlooks the River Wye, and has been a hostelry since Victorian times. It offers the character of a bygone era combined with modern comforts and facilities. Bedrooms are individually and carefully furnished and one has a four-poster bed and its own patio. Comfortable public areas include a choice of sitting rooms. Helen Mattis and Judith Mills-Haworth were finalists in this year's Friendliest Landlady of the Year award (2011-12).
