Expect a warm Scottish welcome at this small, family-run bed and breakfast, located in a recently refurbished 1950s bungalow, convenient for Edinburgh city centre. Breakfast is served in the sun room overlooking an enclosed, private rear garden. Guests can choose from a substantial continental breakfast, creamy porridge or a traditional Scottish breakfast. Families and children of all ages are made very welcome, and there is plenty of play space in the garden, along with swings and a trampoline. The landlady is a former Edinburgh tour guide so there's no shortage of advice on local activities available. Tours of many fascinating Scottish places can also be arranged.
