This remote Grade II listed farmhouse dates in part from 1401 and has been confirmed, by dendrochronology, as the 'oldest dwelling in Wales'. As you would expect the house has tremendous character, and is decorated and furnished to befit its age the bedrooms have all the modern facilities. There is an impressive dining room and a lounge with an open fireplace. Warm hospitality from John Marchant and Annie McKay is a major strength here, and they were both finalists in this year's Friendliest Landlady of the Year award (2011-12).
